As a Business Development Telemarketer, you hold a key role in the growth and success of our organization. You have a few primary responsibilities:

  1. Proactively make outbound calls to potential partners, introducing them to MVP’s IT services and solutions, in order to generate interest and create new business opportunities.
  2. Evaluate and qualify leads by determining potential partners’ needs, budget, and decision-making authority, ensuring that only high quality leads are passed on to the Business Development Associates.
  3. Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential partners through excellent communication and rapport-building skills, fostering trust, credibility, and demonstrating our commitment to trust and integrity.
  4. Accurately record and update partner information in ConnectWise, ensuring all interactions and relevant details are documented for future reference and follow-ups.
  5. Consistently meet or exceed established performance targets, such as call volume, lead conversion rate, and appointment setting, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.

You will be accountable for:

  1. Ensure a consistent daily call volume of 100-150 calls, effectively managing your time and resources to meet this target while maintaining a high level of call quality and professionalism.
  2. Be accountable for the successful conversion of cold leads into warm prospects, ensuring that you meet or exceed established lead conversion goals and contribute to the overall success of the Business Development team.
  3. Take responsibility for setting a predetermined number of appointments for Business Development Associates, enabling them to engage with well-qualified partners and foster long-term partnerships.
  4. Actively collaborate with your team, sharing insights and best practices, while maintaining open communication channels with Business Development Associates to ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads.
  5. Be accountable for your personal growth and development within the role, seeking feedback and opportunities for improvement to enhance your telemarketing skills and contribute positively to the team’s performance.

  1. Possess strong verbal communication and active listening abilities, enabling you to effectively convey information about the company’s IT services and solutions while understanding potential partners’ needs and concerns.
  2. Demonstrate the ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude, staying motivated and persistent in your efforts to engage with potential partners and achieve desired results.
  3. Excel in managing your time efficiently, prioritizing tasks, and organizing your daily workload to ensure you meet established call volume, lead conversion, and appointment-setting targets.
  4. Be able to quickly adapt to new situations, learn about the company’s evolving IT services and solutions, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in telemarketing.
  5. Exhibit a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration, working closely with other team members to share insights, support each other’s growth, and contribute to the overall success of the Business Development team.

Credentials and Experience:

  1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  2. At least 1-2 years of experience in telemarketing, sales, or customer service, preferably within the IT or technology sector. A proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets and lead conversion goals is desired.
  3. Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office Suite, ConnectWise, and telephone systems, to efficiently manage tasks, record information, and communicate with potential partners. Familiarity with IT services and solutions is a plus.
