Pay Range: $75,000 – $100,000* ( pay scale is directly related to certification status )

Summary:

The focus of this position will be the implementation of and daily monitoring of security standards across all
of MVP’s client tenants to ensure they remain protected from risk and functioning to their fullest potential.
The Microsoft 365 Administrator monitors, troubleshoots, resolves issues, and maintains services
throughout multiple O365/Azure Tenants. The position will work directly with other Engineers/Administrators
and be responsible for the delivery of analysis, deployment, licensing, and support of the Microsoft 365
platform. Candidates should have a background in supporting and deploying critical Office 365 services as
well as other major email platforms such as Microsoft Exchange and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities:

As a Microsoft 365 Administrator, you hold a key role in the growth and success of our organization.
You have a few primary responsibilities:

  1. Designing and developing Microsoft 365 solutions following MVP best practice
  2.  Understanding Microsoft 365 licensing and multi-tenant consolidation
  3. Developing documentation utilizing standardized templates
  4. Writing other non-template documentation as needed to support tasks like process and procedures
    documents for operational support, lessons learned, diagrams, systems administration guidelines,
    systems set-up documentation
  5. Managing, maintaining, and enhancing current and future baselines (this effort will encompass handson
    technical engineering efforts required to define, develop, test, and implement security baselines).

To be successful you have:

  • Strong proficiency with messaging technologies, particularly in Office 365, Exchange Online,
    Microsoft Teams
  • Experience with PowerShell automation
  • Experience and understanding of DNS and how it works.
  • Experience and understanding of email delivery workflows
  • Experience and understanding of core email security concepts and how they work
  • Experience on Exchange on-premises to Exchange Online migration
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities including the ability to critically evaluate information gathered
    from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and apply
    sound business knowledge.
  • Deployment, remedy, and migration of Exchange online, Azure Ad, Teams, Intune, Conditional Access and other O365 and EMS capabilities
  • Performing preventative maintenance and help manage security within AD and Office 365 SSO
    integration between Office 365, Azure SSO and other major SSO providers.
  • Strong understanding and working experience on Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and related
    technologies, especially DN
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a complex and fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to work both alone and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to prepare and review technical documents. Must be flexible, open-minded, a self-starter, team
    player, supportive, detail-oriented, ability to multitask, and well organized
  • Strong customer service focus, skills, and background.

Credentials and Experience:

  • Education and/or experience typically obtained through completion of a bachelor’s degree
  • MS 365 Associate Certification preferred but not required
  • MS-100 Microsoft 365 Identity and Services test completion preferred but not required
